greasy pizza and airports....

So I'm in my hotel room in Newark, NJ with Julee now! I just had a horribly greasy piece of pizza (hotel food) and now we are both sitting on our beds trying to catch up on e-mails that are needing to be sent out.
These past few days have been a whirlwind of family time, friends and packing.
Here's my weekend in pictures:

My family. My Dad hates taking pictures so he was being goofy with my dog.

Dad dropped my dog (Moser) on my head in this picture!

My cousins and Grandparents came in for my last weekend before I left

This is all of the clothes I own. :) This was the beginning of the packing process. It took 5 of us to get everything in my bags.

more stuff that needed to be put in my bags..... 1 years worth of stuff gets really big and heavy quick...

2 of my best friends in the world. You know you have true friends when they help you pack for 2 hours. And this wasn't just throwing stuff in bags it was packing on crack. It took 5 of us to get the job done.

My lifeline team...

2 of my dearest friends

We were delirious after hours of packing and we decided to take pictures!

So after a very exhausting weekend I arrived at the airport this morning at 6:10am with my wonderful family. I had 2 50lb bags and 3 carry on's

Jules and I crammed in our taxi leaving the Newark, NJ airport. Forgive us because we haven't slept in days and I'm definitely not very cute in this picture but Julee had never ridden in a cab before so this trip has already been a trip of firsts.

But we are leaving tomorrow at noon for China officially. After a 13 hour flight we are meeting Mikey to take an overnight train ride to then finally arrive at our destination. We are excited and ready to finally get settled into our new home! Thank you so much for all of your love and support. I have been so bl-ssed by your words of encouragement.

Sorry if this post isn't very consistent. I'm a little scatter brained but I still wanted to keep you guys updated!

Love, Chrissy

  1. I like what you've done with your hair(whenever it was that you did that), it looks good. I'll be praying for you. Love ya.

  2. Hang in there. You can do it. You are on your way to live out your destiny. May God grant you continued peace & safety today and tomorrow as you are traveling. May he also prepare the hearts and minds of the ones you will encounter along the way. God Bless, I will continue praying.

  3. You are in my thoughts and prayers as well. Have a safe journey and I look forward to hearing all about it!

Actually, I owe you...for being my hero!!! Forever and for always, Love, Mama
